CNC Router and Plasma Operator

IVC Signs are currently looking to recruit a CNC Router and Plasma Operator this is due to a major investment within the company. you will be responsible for the machining of aluminium, steel and acrylic sign components on time, in full to the correct quality standards. As part of their young enthusiastic team. The position will play a key role in assisting with the development of the company. The successful applicant will have a vast knowledge of working within in the sign industry and a positive aptitude for ‘hands on’ production work. A strong desire to work within a team and to be able to assist as and when required.

We are looking for: A self motivated and driven individual.

Key responsibilities:
Responsible for organising own work schedule to ensure machine is working efficiently to maximise output in line with work measurement.
To complete the daily work schedules using documentation and CAD/CAM Drawings.
Fully responsible for the accuracy and quality of work produced, to carry out duties and maintain compliance to the companies ISO 9001 2008 Quality Management System aspirations.
You are responsible for completing maintenance checks and completing the relevant documentation. Machine tool changes as necessary are the responsibility of the operator in order that the expected standards of workmanship are achieved. Training will be given on how to carryout tool changes.
You are fully responsible for the housekeeping within your work area.
In line with your contractual obligations you may be required to conduct production activities within other areas of the business.

Job Requirements:
Ordering and management of stock levels
Good level of education, a team player,
You will need a technical mind and the ability to work closely with the project managers and production staff to achieve the high quality products our clients demand.
Delegating work loads to staff.
Forklift truck License advantageous

Full training on new machines.

Salary: Basic salary (negotiable with experience.)
